When Friendship or Love Our sympathies move;
When Truth, in a glance, should appear,
The lips may beguile,With a dimple or smile,
But the test of affection's a Tear:

Too oft is a smile But the hypocrite's wile,
To mask detestation, or fear;
Give me the soft sigh,Whilst the soultelling eye
Is dimm'd, for a time, with a Tear:

(Lord Byron, 'The Tear').

Greetings fellow doormice, and all those who feel small in a big big world! For whilst it is true that in the multi-dimensional universe we are mere particles in a huge and swelling extravagence, even we little ones have a view of the world and a part to play in it.

First, I shall tell you a little something about myself

I am a doormouse who likes to write, sing and talk; I like to dream and love a challange; and I have 2 little doormouse who make my eyes sparkle.

On this blog, I shall share my faith, my thoughts (and sometimes my poems), and maybe some of my thoughts and ideas will make you smile - and they may also make you cross since you may not agree with me. I lean a little to the left, though labels and boxes are not my style. The world is made of all sorts, and it takes all sorts to make the world.

(Oh, and I promise not to make to make too many corny comments too often!)

I am a doormouse with Faith. I would like to share it with you.

If I have a faith to move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. (1Corinthians 13).

Love and light to you

the doormouse.
